SWIM WITH HUMPBACKS IN AITUTAKI, COOK ISLANDS

Booking now for August 2025

cook_islands_location_map.jpg

Experience a once in a lifetime opportunity to swim and interact with humpback whales!

Exciting news; the Cook islands are now a direct flight from Honolulu, making this remote and pristine area easier to access!

Aitutaki, an island located in the Cook archipelago, offers picturesque white-sanded beaches, diverse reefs with cerulean blue waters, and a unique culture for a true South Pacific experience.  The warm, tropical bays provide a safe refuge for humpback whales to migrate each austral winter (July-October) for mating and birthing.

You will stay at a serene resort directly on the beach offering many other activities such kayaking, kite-surfing, snorkeling, and stand-up paddle boarding.  We are limiting each trip to 8 participants to insure the maximum whale encounters.

Marine biologist, Dr. Lei Lani Stelle, and wildlife photographer, Shane Keena, will lead this expedition.  We will provide workshops on humpback whale ecology and photo-document all aspects of the trip, including your underwater whale interactions.
